He has had further training in Colorectal surgery in the UK, where he was working for 5 years.

His UK experience includes fellowships in minimally invasive colorectal surgery (Laparoscopic and Robotic), Surgery for Colorectal cancer, Peritoneal Cytoreductive Surgery and HIPEC. He was a fellow at the Basingstoke Peritoneal Malignancy Institute, which is a world-renowned centre for Colorectal and peritoneal cancer surgery.

He has also worked as a locum General/Colorectal surgical Consultant at University Hospitals Coventry, UK. He was awarded the Membership of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2018. He is a member of the Association of Colo-Proctologists of Great-Britain and Ireland. He is involved in multiple research projects, both in India and the UK and has many publications in peer-reviewed Journals.
