My surgeon (I am proud to refer to him this way 😊), Dr. Chintamani Godbole of Jaslok is an amazing surgeon not only in his clinical abilities but also in his post op. patient empathy and support. If anyone ever needs a colorectal procedure done, Dr. Chintamani would be the first and only GI Surgeon I would send them to. I decided to go with him after consulting 3 other top GI Surgeons of Mumbai. His team of doctors at Jaslok is also very caring and would keep 24/7 vigil on his patients. Met Dr Chintamani Godbole at Jaslok Hospital during my father's Colon surgery. He explained the details of the surgery in precise manner with all necessary details. Very experienced, Professional, Kind, polite, skillful and is accessible whenever required by the patients. Surgery went very well without any issues and complications. Dr. Chintamani Godbole is an outstanding and highly skilled colorectal surgeon whom I met with during my recent surgery Although it was not an easy task to find out out the right Surgeon but after putting much effort I came across him and found out that he is very compassionate, highly professional and incredibly knowledgeable. His clear communication minimal wait time gave excellent surgical results . His team made me feel safe at every step.and the follow ups were prompt and he came to check the progress every day during the hospitalization period. Dr Chintamani was also very much  supportive after discharge and was responding to any query on WhatsApp which I appreciate so much and  made me feel that I am  genuinely cared. A word of praise to his supportive staff who were so kind and dedicated for which I am very grateful to them for the care received. Needed to see a doc asap … googled .. found Dr Chintamani’s page … filled details … got contacted promptly by Daniel… soft spoken and helpful. Got an appointment within an hour .. I see a lot of doctors as a doctor and also as patient myself sometimes .. Dr Chintamani is first of all kind , which I feel is becoming rarer with time .. He is patient and generous with his time and doesn’t rush , addresses the concern reassuringly no matter how silly it might seem, soft spoken and very professional for those morbid feelings that come with an examination and genuinely a good soul.. good doctor . Dr Chintamani Godbole has very successfully operated on my father for Anterior Resection by Laparoscopic assisted procedure, for early stage cancer at Jaslok Hospital. Our experience with him has been extremely pleasant. He is not only a fine surgeon, but also a very kind hearted doctor who gave a very patient hearing to our concerns.
